BeniSave ("BeniSave," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at www.benisave.com (the "Site"). BeniSave is a healthcare decision-support tool that helps consumers understand non-insurance healthcare options based on their needs, budget, and preferences.

2. Important Note About What BeniSave Is (and Is Not)

BeniSave is not a health insurance company, healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. BeniSave does not sell insurance, enroll consumers in healthcare programs, or provide medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. BeniSave is not intended to be a "covered entity" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

However, because BeniSave's assessment may ask about your health-related needs, preferences, and circumstances, we treat that information as sensitive and apply privacy and security safeguards designed to protect it, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Contact Information

Name, email address, and any information you provide when you contact us, sign up for our email list, or use the chat widget on our Site.

Assessment / Intake Information

When you complete the BeniSave assessment to receive a personalized report, we collect information such as:

Payment Information

When you purchase a BeniSave Options Report, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. BeniSave does not store your full credit card number. See Section 8 (Payment Processing) below.

We limit access to health-related information to what is necessary to generate your report and to comply with applicable law.

 

6. How We Share Information

BeniSave does not sell your health-related assessment responses.

We may share information with:

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to help operate the Site and deliver our services, including our website hosting platform (Wix), payment processor, email service provider, and customer support/chat tools. These vendors are permitted to use your information only to provide services to BeniSave and are contractually or otherwise required to protect your information.

Affiliate and referral relationships. BeniSave may provide links to third-party healthcare, telehealth, dental, vision, prescription, or related service providers mentioned in your report or on the Site. If BeniSave has a referral or affiliate relationship with a provider, we disclose that relationship near the relevant link, consistent with FTC guidance on affiliate disclosures. BeniSave does not share your detailed assessment responses with affiliate providers. If you choose to contact or provide information directly to a third-party provider, that provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle your information.

Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BeniSave, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If BeniSave is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

 

7. Payment Processing

BeniSave uses a third-party payment processor to process the one-time $69 fee for your personalized report. BeniSave does not store your full credit card or payment account number. Our payment processor collects and processes payment information under its own privacy and security practices, and we encourage you to review the payment processor's privacy policy.

 

8. Cookies and Analytics

BeniSave's Site is built on the Wix platform, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and collect analytics about how visitors use the Site. We may also use analytics tools to understand Site traffic and improve our services.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.

 

9. Affiliate / Referral Disclosure

Some links on the Site or in your personalized report may be affiliate or referral links, meaning BeniSave may receive a commission or referral fee if you sign up for or purchase a service through that link. This does not affect the price you pay.

Where a referral or affiliate relationship exists, we label the link or option accordingly and disclose the relationship near the link, in compliance with FTC guidance on endorsements and disclosures. BeniSave does not have affiliate or referral relationships with health-sharing ministries.

BeniSave's inclusion of any option in your report is for informational and educational purposes and is not an endorsement or recommendation that you choose that specific option.

 

10. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Assessment responses used to generate your report are retained for a limited period to allow you to access your report and for quality and compliance purposes, after which they may be deleted or de-identified.

You may request deletion of your information at any time, as described in Section 12 below.

 

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

12. FTC Health Breach Notification Rule

BeniSave is not a HIPAA-covered entity. As a business that may collect health-related information from consumers, BeniSave is subject to the Federal Trade Commission's Health Breach Notification Rule (HBNR).

If BeniSave discovers a breach of security involving unsecured, identifiable health information covered by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, we will provide the notices required by applicable law. Depending on the nature and size of the breach, this may include notice to affected individuals, the Federal Trade Commission, and, where required, the media. We will provide any required notices without unreasonable delay and within the time periods required by law.

BeniSave's Site and services are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
